So Ray Plantation is around 260m above sea level, where visitors have panoramic view of the peaceful Con Son town. So Ray is about 20 hectares and flat where has many kind of native fruits, trees and many small mammals such as birds, squirrels, long-tailed macaques and some animals listed in the Vietnam Red List. During the French colonial period, many political prisoners exploited and worked and cultivated fruit trees and vegetables at So Ray to serve the French ruling apparatus. Today So Ray has become an indispensable place in the journey to discover Con Dao.
Con Dao National Park is the special & unique forest system and is one of 33 national parks of Vietnam with area of about 19,883.15 ha. The National Park is very importance and keep a huge value in bio-diversity conservation, environmental protection, and eco-tourism development … Besides, the National Park also contains of many interesting historical vestiges that can make tourists surprise.
